Kent County MI Hazardous Waste Saturday Drop Off Dates
Kent County Recycling maintains a free drop off service for
hazardous waste at 4 facilities year round. Special Saturday
dates for all Kent County residents started this month.
Don't throw those nasty chemicals in the trash - they could
end up in our water supply!
They accept batteries, cleaning supplies, CFL’s, motor oil,
and other hazardous materials. If you have any
questions about what is acceptable, please call 616-356-2170

Summer is a good time to clean out the garage and basement.
Moving can be also necessitate a hard look at all the chemicals
we have accumulated. Most moving companies will not transport
hazardous chemicals. Get rid of those items that you won't be needing.
We found some ancient stuff in our garage - besides the dead bugs!
