Roselle Park in Ada Michigan along the Grand River is 247 acre park that is
a dedicated Natural Habitat Refuge. On a rainy Saturday a few weeks
ago, we stopped and took a few photos. It was cold and windy but
the fall colors were great. We walked on one of the trails along the Grand
River. A very peaceful place to visit. Dogs on leashes are welcome.
These silos were left from the previous owner of the property. The one with
the stars on top has been made into a 9 story observation tower.
This stone states that Roselle park is dedicated the people of Ada Township

Hi Terry and Bonnie - What terrific photos of a very beautiful place. I really enjoyed your photoblog! I was wondering about the steam I can see in photo #4? What is it from? I particularly like that photo - how the trail starts at the lower corner and leads the eye to the popping color of the tree. Really nice!

Turn one of the silos in to an observatory was a great idea and I bet on a clear night, you can get some amazing photos.

What a great place to just go and relax. I'm sure that it's one of the "little know secrets" that you've just told the world about!
Debi: Thanks for the feature...didn't expect that. The "steam" is probaby rain on the lens, it was a wet & windy weather day. I love to take pictures of paths, what seems like a boring shot can turn out really well - must be the perspective. Bonnie
Todd: I'll have to try night photos - full moon of course, there aren't any lights out there at all! The tower is well worth the climb up !

What a great conversion and use of silos. I know a guy that built a poker room for he and his friends on the top of it. My guess is his wife did not approve of it.
Jim and Maria: We live a short distance from it and don't visit it often enough.
Tom: I'm not sure that is an approved use in our area. But it sounds like a good use to me.
I enjoyed your pictoblog, Bonnie. The pictures were especially beautiful along the river. Congratulations on your feature.
Sharon: Thanks for commenting, I have rediscovered an old hobby in taking photos for blogs. I find myself taking pictures everywhere!
