I guess I am still a kid at heart. What a thrill to wake up and see the
white crystals of snow coating everything in sight! Needless to say,
with the amount of snow we received, it is a "Snow Day" for most
of the kids in Grand Rapids area. While it is not inconvenient for me,
it is for most people. Roads are slippery, traffic is slow and commute
times are much longer than our normal speedy travel.
I took a few photos so you can see what we woke up to in GR this
morning.

Terry and Bonnie,
We have to be geographically close because we got our first last night at well.
Terry, What beautiful photos - I especially like the first one- the light and shadows :)
Debi
Very beautiful, Terry! I must admit it looks just fine up there north of us.
I am waiting for our first snowfall today and the photo ops it will bring. Yours are wonderful, thank you for sharing!
At least it didn't mess around when it decided to snow on you guys! Our first snows are usually 2 inches or less!
We are getting our 1st snowfall today although it is not expected to amount to much. I hate Winter! Hope you guys are well.
We had our first snow fall yesterday. Yes it was the first significant snowfall in Houston in the last 15 years. You just have to love that global warming.
Tom: I guess were are close. It is the signal of the Holiday season for me.
Debi, Lots of photo opportunities with the first snow.
Sharon, With Lake Michigan we get the dreaded Lake Effect snow in this case about 10 inches.
Andrea, We went out yesterday and took new photos of all our listing in the Grand Rapids area. Try to keep current season photos on all our properties.
Tony and Darcy, It is unusual for us to get this much for our first snow.
Bill, It is pretty to look at but can be a pain to get around in. After a month or so it does get tiring.
Marchel, I guess its warming somewhere else right now. It is some of the coldest starts to December I can remember.
There are times (not often :-) that I actually get jealous because you get so much more snow than us east siders. So pretty!
