Starting June 15th, you can relax by the river with various Blues

 Bands  in Rockford, Michigan this summer. 

                          Bring a blanket and enjoy!

The Rockford Area Arts Commission and the City of Rockford are

presenting  the Huntington Rogue River Blues Series for 2010,

sponsored by Huntington Bank. This popular series brings great local

 live music to Garden Club Park in downtown Rockford by the river

most Tuesday evenings this summer. And who could resist a band called

"Thirsty Perch Blues Band?"

Rogue River Dam Rockford Michigan

The Place: Garden Club Park Stage located along the White Pine Trail

 near the Dam.

The Time: 7:00-9:00 pm

Tuesday June 29, 2010 -  Greg Nagy Band


Tuesday July 6, 2010  - Harry Lucas and the Lowdown

Tuesday July 13, 2010 – Those Delta Rhythm Kings

Tuesday July 20, 2010 –Steve Hilger Blues Band

Tuesday July 27, 2010 – Thirsty Perch Blues Band

** Inclement weather: the event moves to Rotary Pavilion located

 in downtown Rockford at the corner of Courtland St. and Squires St.

Parking Suggestion: South Squires Parking Lot, accessed from Bridge

 St. entrance drive between Vitale’s and J.T. Stitchery or from Main

 St. entrance drive north of the Rogue Valley Towers building. A

short, pleasant walk north on the White Pine Trail will bring you

directly to the park

Wish I still lived in Grand Rapids so I could go to these concerts - sounds like fun!
