The Chihuly exhibit at Frederick Meijer Gardens will be leaving on

October 30th.  If you haven’t had a chance to go see this fantastic

art exhibit in one of the most popular gardens in the world, you are

missing a fantastic experience.

These bright yellow glass blooms are displayed in the towering greenhouse at Meijer Gardens.

They fit right in with the other exotic flowers on display.  The birds in the  greenhouse have

been seen drinking water from the bowls of the flowers.

Have never seen Chihuly's work 'in the wild' before. He has a gallery at CityCenter in Las Vegas with some truly amazing pieces.

I am becoming enlighted to Chiluly's work.  I had never heard of it before.  I think it is interesting when art and gardens come together in a pleasing way.  I have a few ceramic mushrooms in my garden, and I love them!

I have not dropped in on your post a while, so hello from Sunny greater Los Angeles. BTW I have never heard of this plant. Are the flowers really Glass? Sorry for my lack of knowledge, either way they are beautiful thank you for sharing with us.
